electronics and electric machines/drives and power systems, funded through NSF,
NASA and ONR)

Workshop Objective: To discuss reforming the entire electric energy
systems curriculum nationwide (there are more than 175 such programs)

Location and Accommodations
The
workshop will be held at the Coronado Springs Resort, Walt Disney World, in Orlando, Florida.
A block of rooms has been reserved at the hotel. Two nights of free lodging
will be provided on a first-come basis to a limited number of the qualified
U.S. Power Faculty (tenured, tenure-track or adjunct faculty who are teaching
Power Systems and related course(s) at a university in the United States).
The exact number that we will be able to support will depend on our NSF
funding. If you qualify for the complimentary lodging, we will make your hotel
reservation for you and send you confirmation.
Poster Session
You are invited for a poster presentation on any relevant topic at
this workshop. Further information to the registrants will be provided after November 15, 2005. There
is no requirement of a written paper and we will upload all the poster slides
on our website with your permission.
Registration Deadline
The deadline for registration is November
15, 2005. When you register for the
workshop, you will receive an email confirming your registration for the
course. Hotel confirmation numbers will be emailed to all participants one
month before the workshop.
