THE GRADUATION PROCESS

A. GRADUATE SCHOOL DEGREES ARE AWARDED MONTHLY

Degrees are awarded at the end of each month. To qualify for graduation for a particular month, a student must submit the Application for Degree form on or before the first workday of that month and must complete the examination and all other requirements (including necessary forms and fees) by the last workday of that month.

B. THE GRADUATION PACKET

The graduation process will begin when the Graduate School distributes the necessary forms and information for graduation. Master's Plan A students receive the forms and information when they register their Thesis Title by submitting a Title Page of their thesis to 316 Johnston Hall. Students under the Plan B Master's program receive the necessary information and forms when they pick up their Final Examination Report Form. Students under the M Comp E Coursework Track program receive the necessary information and forms when they notify the Graduate School that they have completed the required coursework for their degree. Among the forms distributed is an Application for Degree.
