The Institute of Technology has a lower division and an upper division honors program. Contact the
IT Honors Office
in 136 Lind Hall for further information about the Lower Division Honors program. Electrical and Computer Engineering participates in the I.T. Upper Division Honors Program. During their Senior Year, qualified students may elect to participate in the Senior Honors Design Course Sequence EE4981H and EE4982V. This is a two semester, two credits per semester design course performed under the direction of a faculty adviser and the ECE Senior Honors course instructor. Advance permission from the ECE Senior Honors course instructor is required to register for this sequence. In addition, a student may graduate with latin honors (cum laude, magna cum laude, summa cum laude) by obtaining the required grade point average, honors experiences, and thesis requirements.
