| Students in the University of Minnesota's REU program are provided housing and meals in a campus dormitory for 10 weeks. Students will be housed in Comstock Hall at 210 Delaware St., SE in Minneapolis during the summer program. Meals at Comstock are not traditional dormitory meals considering they always have a vegitarian and vegan option along with each meal, they even have a weekly personal chef who makes fresh food varying from stir fry to omlets. Comstock Hall is adjacent to the east bank of the Mississippi River with an amazing view of Downtown Minneapolis (which is just a bus ride, bike ride, or short strole away). Commstock is loacated near convenient campus attractions, including the Coffman Memorial Union, Northrop Auditorium and the Weisman Art Museum. In addition to the Electrical and Computer Engineering REU students, more than 100 students from other summer research programs across campus will be housed at Comstock, giving the students more opportunities to connect to one another. The University of Minnesota is the perfect location for students to take in a free movie at the Student Center Theatre, stroll around one of many museums, take a trip to downtown, go to a club, or just relax along the river. Everyone can find there niche here. For general information about University housing, as well as rules and regulations, please visit http://www1.umn.edu/housing/student/caq.shtml
