Recent changes in semiconductor technologies and their applications in control actuators, sensors and computers are having a major impact on the design and implementation of control systems. My research interests lie in the development of systems, techniques and tools for integrating these new technologies and concepts into modern high-performance control systems, with emphasis on the control of mechanical motion.
