My primary research interests are in modeling, analysis, and control of spatially distributed dynamical systems. These include: flow modeling and control; analysis of internal and input-output properties of PDEs with periodic coefficients; design of distributed localized controllers for large scale and infinite dimensional systems; limitations and tradeoffs in the control of vehicular formations; and computational tools and model reduction for spatially distributed systems.
