 Education and Current Research Interests

I have obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cukurova University, Adana Turkey, in 2005. I was a Post-Doc associate between 2005 and 2008 at the University of Minnesota. Currently, I am a Research Assistant Professor in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department and hold a research associate position in the Neurosurgery Department at the University of Minnesota. My current research interests are:

 Neural Engineering;
Brain Machine Interfaces, Analysis and Classification of EEG/MEG with adaptive time frequency bases.

 Wearable Wireless Medical Sensors;
Development of embedded wearable wireless sensors and their integration to intelligent systems.

 Food inspection via Impact Acoustics;
The use of adaptive time frequency bases for the impact acoustics classification.
