 Education and Current Research Interests

I have obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Cukurova University, Adana Turkey, in 2005. I was a visiting scholar in 2004 and 2005 at the University of Minnesota, supported by the international joint Ph.D. scholarship program of the National Scientific Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK) and worked under the guidance of Prof. Ahmed Tewfik and Prof. Sami Arica. Currently, I am a Research Associate in the Neurosurgery Department at the University of Minnesota. My current research interests are:

 Neural Engineering;
Brain Machine Interfaces, Analysis and Classification of EEG/MEG with adaptive time frequency bases.

 Wearable Wireless Medical Sensors;
Development of embedded wearable wireless sensors and their integration to intelligent systems.

 Food inspection via Impact Acoustics;
The use of adaptive time frequency bases for the impact acoustics classification.
