Nanotechnology: Nanoxerography Creating nanoscale photocopies (from Nature Materials)
Using a process similar to xerography in print, researchers have been able to deposit nanoparticles in lines just 800 nm wide by using electrostatic forces to control where the particles sit. The process could be used to create nanostructures and the entire pattern can be deposited in one simple step from either a dry powder, a liquid suspension, or a gas-phase suspension of particles. (11.25.02)
