Welcome to my homepage. I am a post-doctoral research associate in SPiNCOM Group in Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Minnesota, where I am collaborating with Professor Georgios Giannakis and other colleagues. Before joining here in March 2008, I worked for NEC Labs America in Princeton, New Jersey, as a Research Staff Member. My main collaborator at that time was Professor Xiaodong Wang in Columbia University. I received my Ph.D. from University of California at Santa Barbara, under the guidance of Professor Ron Iltis, and my Master's degree at Seoul National University in South Korea, under the guidance of Professor Yong-Hwan Lee.

 

My research interest lies in applying various signal processing and optimization techniques to the problems in communications and networking. The settings of particular interest include cognitive radio networks, wireless sensor networks, and cellular networks.
