EE8235 Adaptive Control

Topics: Examples and motivation. Plant parametric models. Background
material on stability and optimization. On-line parameter
estimation: SPR Lyapunov design approach, gradient and least-squares
methods, adaptive laws with projection. Persistency of excitation.
Parameter identifier and adaptive observers. Model reference
adaptive control. Adaptive pole placement. Nonlinear adaptive
control. Adaptive backstepping.
