Steady-state characteristics of the induction machine

This set of animations provides a visual process for examining (on the fly) the effects of changing the values of the parameters of an induction machine on the torque, current, and speed characteristics. These parameters expressed in per unit (V_s ω_s R_s R_r L_sl L_rl L_m ) may be adjusted separately or in combination by accessing the pertinent sliders. The slider ω_s effectively represents the voltage-to-frequency ratio tool needed to model variable-voltage, variable-frequency operation.
