I am a Research Associate in the Ginzton Laboratory at Stanford University, where I work with Shanhui Fan’s group to advance the scientific and technological possibilities of passive, radiative cooling using new photonic approaches. Beyond this focus, I am broadly interested in nanophotonics, photovoltaics, plasmonic structures, metamaterials, and thermal photonics. By applying ideas from these fields my goal is to enable the development of new products that can reduce or re-direct conventional energy usage patterns.
