Administrator Accounts
Administrator accounts are tightly controlled. Generally, these accounts are not provided to users.
In order to receive special authorization for an administrator account, you must specifically demonstrate that your university research or work will be negatively impacted as a direct result of not having administrative privileges.
If you would like an administrator/root account on a departmental computer, please fill out the following form and return it to 3-147C. If approved, we will create your account.
